After checking in to our wondrous [single] pavilion, Jon and I were feeling peckish. Our room was located in the central area of the resort, which meant we were also very close to Faces – the al fresco restaurant at The Bale overlooking the main pool. You have the option to go there for breakfast, lunch and dinner during your stay. We walked over and were awakened by the smells and sounds of the open kitchen. Starting off Western with an Insalata Caprese, we decided to go Asian with the rest of our lunch; Pad Thai and Gado Gado (Indonesian super salad with crispy prawn crackers and peanut dressing). Selamat makan!
