It’s time to hear a condensed version of my story… At the Physiogel event, I shared a bit of my struggles and mentioned that my dry and sensitive skin intensified as I was going through changes that brought me out of my comfort zone. Some examples would be adjusting to married life after the wedding high and expanding my cupcake business to a small storefront. The latter ended up not pushing through, by the way. During those instances, the redness would surface and naturally I became more self-conscious and watchful of what others may think. I even admitted that I would have liked to be out and about and go for more work, but a little thought at the back of my mind wondered if my skin might be an issue or a hindrance to booking jobs.
Guests at the event also wanted to know how I discovered Physiogel. I told them that my introduction to the brand began before my formal working relationship… When I moved back to Manila from Los Angeles, my dermatologist prescribed Physiogel for my concerns. It worked very well but as my skin got better, I thought I could start experimenting with other products. Bad idea. It proved to be an overload of too many chemicals, which resulted in irritations once again. So, I went back to square one. It’s tedious and sometimes discouraging sampling different products because it becomes a process and you need time for your skin to adjust. Only from there will you see if it’s a right fit. It’s comforting to know I don’t have to go through that anymore. At last, I found a long-term and successful solution.
When I am disciplined with my [cleanser, cream, lotion] routine, I can honestly say that my skin is visibly clearer and cleaner when I look in the mirror. The glowing, smooth and healthy apperance I once had is making a come back! Those close to me and those who see me often are noticing how much my skin has improved. I think they are also observing the confidence that comes from within; I’m more comfortable now wearing less make up and not as insecure as I might have been before. Be part of this movement and address your specific skin needs so that you, too, can say, “I am #FreeInMySkin!”
