ST. NAILS

11.08.2015

Here’s a quick interval post while I prepare for my summer (it’s summer in America!) vacation to the City of Angels and the Big Apple. Woo-hoo to more travel, food and lifestyle content coming up!

Karen and I have been going to St. Nails for a little over than 2 years now and we managed to make some good girl time out of it. Why is it that the older we get, it becomes trickier to schedule these types of things together? Le sigh. Anyhow, we were gladly brought back at the same time for a photo shoot organized by our friends who operate the salon. I’ve tried their gel polishes,         paraffin waxes and water spas but I typically go for the Classic Manicure and Foot Bliss. I would opt for a regular pedicure but their top service, for me, is when they scrub my feet clean. My blisters and hard skin (ew) literally vanish and my soles are so incredibly smooth afterwards… It’s my favorite and I think they do the best job at it. The staff is highly skilled and all of them are trained nail technicians; specialists and well versed in nail care as well as artistic techniques. Nail art, anyone? It goes without saying that St. Nails values sanitation, relaxation and even giving back – read more below.

Slide8Slide3Slide6Slide9While manis and pedis are essential elements of good grooming, you can also feel good inside because a portion of all sales go to Gawad Kalinga Silver Heights in Caloocan City. This is a partner community of St. Nails; they have been actively helping by building homes and employing GK residents from nearby sites to provide them with a sustainable source of income. Give your tips and toes some extra attention and visit St. Nails at the Ground Floor of the NFB Building (Patron Gas Station) along Edsa corner Arnaiz Avenue in Makati. See you there soon for some polished perfection!
